I don't have one but I've read it at the library. It's one of the best starter books you can get.

Yes, it's an excellent general, all purpose type book, of how to do things the old ways. A good starting point if you have not been exposed to those things.

That information will come in handy in SHTF, so long as you and your family escape the riots, fires, disease and general violence that will visit your neighborhood.

I bought " Storey's Basic Country Skills" and "The Encyclopedia of Country Living". Both are big, thick books, with a wealth of info. Must have for WTSHTF!

Got one I think may be a first edition. Lots of stuff even for the seasoned.

I own two copies. If I can only take 10 books with me, that will be one of them.
